For Someone Living With Special Needs, It Can Be Difficult To Find A Job. But A 20-year-old Man In Bloomingdale Refused To Be Deterred.. In Fact, He Viewed It As A Challenge He Could Master.
My son, Andrew, has cerebral palsy and autism. 90% of all adults with special needs are unemployed!Andrew has been turned down by many employers because of his special needs. Not to be discouraged, Andrew has decided to start his own business, Andrew’s Aluminum.
Andrew began his business by going around the neighborhood and collecting aluminum beverage cans. It has now growing beyond our expectations!
Andrew’s dream is to grow his business so that it can provide independence for him, as well as provide other people, in the special needs community, with employment. As an added bonus, he loves helping the earth by ensuring many cans get recycled!
Andrew would like to be an inspiration to the adult with special needs. He says you CAN do anything you set your mind to!
Thank you for your kindness and support!
